The majority of a yarn for manufacture of socks will consist of two or more kinds of fibres. It can be as natural and artificial fibres.

Cotton
Cotton -
a natural fibre.Which pleasant to the touch and well passes air. Cotton - most the widespread natural fibre, from which develop  high-quality socks.

Properties of a cotton:

  • Well removes a moisture, allows to keep legs  dry;
  • Pleasant to the touch;
  • Allows a body "to breathe";
  • Does not pass to the electrician;
  • Strong, but concedes tartificial fibres;
  • It is possible to paint and bleach. Lacks of a cotton count that is broken and strongly sit at washing, thus a cotton for a long time dries.

Marcerized cotton

At spinning longer fibres of a cotton, which are used are hardly braided with serial processing by a flame of a string thereof  the thin and smooth string is formed. From marcerized clap cotton make thin summer socks for hot weather, and beautiful man's socks.

Flax
For today to flax interest very big. In opinion of experts, in 202070 % of all clothes in the world it will be produced with application of flax.

Properties of flax:

  • Flax in 2 times is more strong than a cotton; and in a damp condition durability increases.
  • Flax does not pass to the electrician, therefore from flax draw a dust much less.
  • The body temperature of the person under clothes from flax on 3-4 OC is lower, than under clothes from a cotton. And also flax perfectly "breathes", absorbs better moisture and faster dries up, creating additional cooling effect.
  • Researches of Ministry of Health  Ukraine have shown, that high comfort of products from linen| Fabrics, promote /o more intensive blood circulation of an organism and reduction of its fatigue.

Wool
Wool
- a warm, reliable and durable fibre. The wool perfectly stores heat. Woolen fabrics do not love long soaking. For this purpose in order to prevent change, a difference temperatures of water at washing and rinsing should be minimal.

Properties of a wool:

  • High hygroscopicity, has property to absorb a moisture up to 40 % from a body weight and thus remains dry to the touch;
  • Well stores heat;
  • Allows a skin "to breathe";
  • A soft and easy material, pleasant to the touch;
  • It is not rumpled and it is not broken at warehousing.

Artificial kinds of raw material unite the general name - Chemical fibres.

Elastan
is a synthetic yarn, which differs high elasticity and it is used in a combination to other natural or synthetic fibres at creation of fitting clothes, which does not constrain movement.

Polyamide - one of synthetic fibres. It is used in manufacture of beautiful man's socks, and also as the additive for increase in durability of a cloth to other fibres.

Properties of polyamide:

  • High durability to deleting;
  • Elasticity, ease;
  • It is easy to paint;
  • Quickly dries up;
  • Do not change at washing also it is not rumpled.

Viscose
Fibre, which it is produced from liquid solution natural cellulose - wood of a fir, a pine, therefore by the nature viscose is considered close to natural fibres also meets to high requirements Hygiene. Products, containing viscose, perfectly pass miss air and absorb moisture, have good heat-shielding properties. Viscose gives to products smoothness and silkiness, creates sensation cool in heat. These properties do make extremely pleasant and comfortable at carrying. With the help of viscose it is possible to improve properties of a cotton, and also with its additive in cotton string ability to incorporate a moisture, which increases at a cotton low.

Lycra is a synthetic fibre, which it is possible to stretch  to the size, that seven times more initial, but as soon as stretching force disappears, it comes back to previous to the size. The fibre can be applied in all kinds of fabrics and in a combination to other fibres, both natural, and synthetic. It is never applied in itself.
